I love this video so much.  It’s not the song that really does it for me [[because Madonna-meets-Cher-meets-house-music isn’t really my jam]] but the story.  A lot of media has been devoted to accurately portraying multifaceted drug experiences, but never has one so concisely matched so many emotions and scenarios I’ve experienced — particularly in a fairly unglamorized fashion.  Love centered around drugs and reckless lifestyles can’t really be compared to anything else because it has an intensity and vapidness that just isn’t matched in more conventional relationships.
